You are being watched - May FAWN never become SPAWN

Todays entry is about your privacy, and how rapidly technology can assist in removing it.An organization with good intentions called FAWN patrols the streets of my neihborhood andtries to spot illegal activities. Here's an exerts from one of thier daily reports ... 6:30 a.m. walk We saw a prostitute dropped off by a 90's white Cadillac in front of NW Caster, 4100 block of Aurora. She was white, 5'5", wearing a dark hat, black mini skirt and dark jacket. We reported her to 911. As we walked in front of the A-1, a prostitute was "tweaking" just outside of #28, saw us and went inside....

The highest paying ad - Online Poker

I can't believe it. It turns out from 7search.com the highest price per click ads come from online poker. Who would guess words like "online poker room", "texas hold 'em" and "internet casino" would pay so much for thier keywords.I've always heard the most expensive ads are for crazy diseases that lawyers can sue for - but not according to 7search. I'll post more about this, as I find it rather interesting top...

My personal blog also contains results of me playing with pica...

Cashing in on Ebay

I started using ebay a few weeks ago and suspected people buy things from factory outlets and then sell them on ebay for a tidy profit. Today I watched this happen. An ebay seller was auctioning a factory seconds item which I'm assuming he bought from dui-online.com for 50$. This seller started this auction with an opening bid of 60$ + 10$ shipping. I watched today as the auction closed for ~ 150$After watching the auction close, I went to dui-online.com and purchased a similar item for 50$. Thanks to the way DUI distribution works, there are no shipping charg...

Torrents and privacy

Bit Torrent seems to be the new way to distribute large files. It's currently used for media and large distributions. It's quite handy. I use azureus. Now the thing I don't understand is why aren't all torrents protected via SSL?Sure everyone in the swarm will know what is being transfered in your swarm but the key is that if someone isn't in your swarm, they won't know what you're looking at.This is very useful when there are zillions of swarms. The only way to know...
